Monica Gray is a Licensed Associate Counselor at Hudson River Care and Counseling who is available for telehealth only. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and she also holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Michigan. Monica is currently working toward her full clinical professional mental health counseling licensure (LPC/LMHC).
Monica spent her early career in corporate marketing. After starting a family, she decided to concentrate on raising her three boys and teaching Barre classes. Her 15 years as a Barre instructor and creative director enabled her to grow as a teacher, leader, and health advisor.
In her current role as a licensed counselor, Monica incorporates her previous work experiences to help individuals and couples find peace, self acceptance, and self love. She takes a psychodynamic approach rooted in attachment theory when engaging clients with past trauma, sexual abuse, anxiety and mood disorders, relationship concerns, obsessive thoughts and behaviors, depression, and personality disorders. She looks forward to working with you at Hudson River Care and Counseling.
