leana Ramos is a Licensed Associate Counselor at Hudson River Care and Counseling, offering both in-person and telehealth sessions in English and Spanish. She graduated from the University of Medical School in Guayaquil, Ecuador, as a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery. She holds a professional Life Coach Certification and a Registered Polysomnography Technician license. After hearing a call from God, she decided to embark on a new career path and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the prestigious Christian institution, Pillar College, with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. Ileana is currently working toward her full clinical professional mental health counseling licensure (LPC ).
Ileana immigrated to the United States in 2001 with her two children. She spent several years working in various hospitals across different departments before transitioning to the sleep field, where she worked for 12 years. Over the years, Ileana's life experiences have shaped her into a compassionate and empathetic counselor. Together with her knowledge and spiritual maturity, she is dedicated to helping individuals or couples who are struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, fears, trauma, communication problems within couples or between parents and children, and other challenges, including immigrants who are uncertain about how to start their careers in this country, preventing them from leading fully healthy physical and mental lives.
