Edith Palmieri, LSW, received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Master's degree in Social Work from NYU. She offers both virtual and in person sessions in the Hoboken office.
Edith believes that each person is the expert of their own life and strives to empower clients to explore ways to live their most fulfilled lives. Whether living with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, navigating big life transitions, or the day to day difficulties of life, Edith collaborates with her clients to work toward their goals, and maybe even have some fun and gain some new insights along the way!
Edith practices a person centered, strengths based approach, utilizing a holistic and integrative model that honors the individual’s unique experiences. Her practice is informed by relational therapy and a psychodynamic approach. She often finds ways to get creative and make art, tell stories and challenge what may not have worked in the past.
Edith believes the most important aspect of therapy is the therapeutic relationship. She aims to create a safe and comfortable space where she and her clients can work together to unveil their most authentic self.
