Avi Burn

Avi is a Social Work intern at Hudson River Care and Counseling, currently completing a Masters degree at New York University. Avi Graduated with honors from Columbia University with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Political Science.

Avi works with a wide range of ages and demographics in both individual and group settings at HRCC. Avi is dedicated to helping his clients manage life's challenges and is focused on realizing real change through the therapeutic relationship. Outside of HRCC, Avi works with first responder's mental wellness and is interested in issues dealing with religious trauma. Avi also uses mindfulness, music and sound as an access to deeper subconscious thoughts as well as a means to find peace and tranquility.
