Aiesha Gibbons is devoted to assisting individuals achieve self-awareness and overcome issues with anxiety, depression, and other distressing life challenges. She believes in supplying comprehensive, evidenced-based service to promote mental health wellness. By active listening, Aiesha provides appropriate psychoeducation and offers emotional
support to her clients as they manage their mental health conditions.
Aiesha is skilled in working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Her cultural competence has enabled her to work effectively in cross cultural situations. No single approach is the right one for every individual. However by utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) she supports her clients as they improve self-confidence to navigate through personal issues. Aiesha assists her clients with discovering healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthening their relationships.
Aiesha Gibbons is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Counseling (Clinical Mental Health) at Kean University. She interns at Hudson River Care and Counseling (HRCC) virtually and in the Teaneck and Hoboken offices. In addition, Aiesha obtained a
master's degree in Administrative Science concentrating in Global Health and Human
Service at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
